Silvia Ruiz

A professional practitioner with over 15 years' experience at multinationals working in audiovisual production, advertising, recording labels (Endemol Group, BMG Rights Management, Dentsu) and leading national law firms, advising organisations and large companies on these issues. 

Highly specialised in Intellectual Property, New Technologies and Privacy, she currently heads up BSK's Audiovisual Area, coordinating the audiovisual projects on which the firm advises. She is in charge of external DPO services with organisations located in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. 

She lectures in institutions and university circles on Intellectual Property and Personal Data Protection. She is co-author of several editions of “Memento Derecho de las Nuevas Tecnologías”, Ed. Lefebvre, Co-author Tirant Lo Blanch 2021. Intellectual Property author at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja. 

Member of several professional associations, DENAE (Spanish Entertainment Law Association) and APEP (Professional Spanish Privacy Association), and winner of the "Leading Associate 2024" award.
