Silvia Ruiz

A professional with over 15 years of experience working with multinational companies in audiovisual production, advertising, record labels (including Endemol Group, BMG Rights Management, and Dentsu), as well as leading national law firms. She advises organizations and large companies on these areas of law. 

Highly specialized in Intellectual Property, New Technologies, and Privacy, she currently leads BSK’s Audiovisual Department, coordinating the firm’s legal advice on audiovisual projects. She also manages external DPO (Data Protection Officer) services for organizations based in the Basque Country. 

She regularly lectures at institutions and universities on Intellectual Property and Data Protection. She is the co-author of several editions of “Memento Derecho de las Nuevas Tecnologías” (Ed. Lefebvre) and “Co-author Tirant Lo Blanch 2021”. She is also an Intellectual Property author at the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja.  

A member of several professional associations, including DENAE (Spanish Entertainment Law Association) and APEP (Spanish Privacy Professionals Association), she has been recognized with the “Leading Associate 2024” award.
