Jon Somocueto

He is a partner of the Digital and Commercial Law Departments. Since the beginning of his career, he has focused on commercial law, specializing in corporate law, commercial contracts, investment agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. He provides ongoing advisory services to companies across various sectors and has also been involved in transactions related to the acquisition and sale of companies, as well as all types of corporate restructuring. 

In addition, he has become a leading expert in digital law, advising various companies on matters such as the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including literary, artistic, audiovisual, and software rights. He also assists on the design and implementation of internal AI management policies and provides advisory services on Digital Rights related to employment, privacy matters and the performance of the services of an external Data Protection Officer. Furthermore, he represents clients before regulatory authorities.
